Insurance Specialist / Manager
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Manager to join our Asset Management team. The Insurance Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising insurance coverage across Taaleri Energia’s wind, solar, and battery storage portfolio throughout the full asset lifecycle – from development and construction to operation and divestment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of corporate and project-level insurance requirements in the renewable energy sector. The position can be based in one of our offices in Finland (Helsinki, Oulu, Tampere), Budapest, or Madrid.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement, renewal, and administration of all insurance policies across development, construction, and operational phases
• Assess and manage insurance risks associated with projects and corporate operations
• Work closely with brokers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate and cost-effective coverage
• Manage claims and act as the main point of contact towards insurers
• Review, negotiate, and monitor insurance requirements in contracts with EPCs, OEMs, O&M providers, and other counterparties
• Support investment and financing processes by providing insurance-related documentation, assessments, and due diligence input
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance market trends and regulatory requirements relevant to renewable energy assets
• Continuously improve insurance processes, systems, and documentation to reflect best practices and mitigate risk exposure

What we expect from you to have:

• Appropriate University degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in insurance management, preferably in infrastructure, energy, or large-scale industrial projects
• Experience working with international insurance markets, brokers, and underwriters
• Proven track record in claims handling, contract reviews, and policy negotiation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across legal, technical, and financial teams
• Fluent in English
• Independent and structured way of working with a high level of accountability
