AML Specialist

We are looking for an AML Specialist to join us on a permanent contract. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out operational tasks related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as sanctions screening.

The ideal candidate is proactive and collaborative, with prior experience in AML-related tasks and a solid understanding of the relevant legislation and regulations. A strong desire for continuous learning in the field of anti-money laundering, along with enthusiasm for developing related processes, are key factors for success in this role.

Your responsibilities:

• Conducting KYC screening and onboarding of counterparties in accordance with established processes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date KYC information
• Supporting the development of AML processes, including analysing changes in laws and regulations
• Assisting in the preparation of money laundering and terrorist financing risk assessments
• Responding to AML-related questionnaires from stakeholders

What we expect from you to have:

• A relevant degree supporting the responsibilities of the role
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in AML-related tasks within the financial sector, experience in an international context is an advantage
• Prior experience on KYC360 (previously RiskScreen) is also an advantage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage proactively with the team members and external stakeholders
• Fluency in Finnish and English
